Course Description

The NDG Linux curriculum, developed by the Cisco Networking Academy partner NDG, is a 2-course series for aspiring Linux system administrators. 

Students develop proficiency in performing maintenance tasks on the command line, installing, and configuring a computer running Linux, and configuring basic networking, using virtual machines running Linux.

The Cisco Networking Academy offers the following 2 courses for Linux study:

NDG Linux I

The first in a 2-course series. Begin your Linux mastery and prepare for certification.

NDG Linux II

The second in a 2-course series. Further your mastery of Linux and prepare for certification.

Visit the ‘NDG Linux I.’

No formal prerequisites, but NDG Linux Essentials or equivalent knowledge recommended.

First course in 2-course series needed for preparing for LPIC-1 (Exam 101) Certification.

Visit the ‘NDG Linux II.'

Prerequisite:  NDG Linux I or equivalent knowledge is recommended.

Prepare for certification LPIC-1 (Exam 102).
