NAFTrack Certification, designed by education and business leaders, is an employability credential that serves as NAF’s seal of college and career readiness. NAF assesses student performance through the completion of career-themed courses, internship assessments, and high school graduation. NAFTrack Certification helps put students in control of their progress and allows them to make connections between their high school coursework and their futures and reflect on their own learning to set goals for personal and professional development.
NAF is a national non-profit organization that brings education, business, and community leaders together to transform the high school experience and prepare students for college, career, and future success. Through our work, NAF aims to address the economic and social disparities that have marginalized too many students in this country. NAF’s educational design includes STEM-infused, career-relevant curricula, work-based learning activities, and fosters safe and inclusive learning environments that deepen academic and developmental outcomes.
Our five career themes are: Health Science, Engineering, Finance, IT, and Hospitality & Tourism. While these are our five broad original themes, we also have academies who are preparing students for success in other career areas. While NAF offers several of our own courses (found here), students can also take courses offered from the state CTE program and/or curriculum provider (i.e. Project Lead the Way, etc.).
